  • Give us the story behind you signing to Rod Wave under Hit House Entertainment!

The story is so long, but I gotta shout out Rio and Chunky for bringing me to Fatz, who is Rod’s dad, and that’s how it all started. Very blessed for them believing in me.

  • How long have you been creating music and what inspired you to start?

I’ve been doing music since a child, started off in the church choir, but I started recording myself at 14.

Would you say growing up in Athens, GA and being close to an entertainment hub like Atlanta helped influence you to step into a creative space?

Yes and no, it’s really not an established music scene in Athens, so I knew I had to take the risk and just run to Atlanta to further my career.

  • Do you have any artists or other creators that you studied growing up? Or even in the steps leading to your music career? Why them?

Rich Homie Quan, Soulja Boy, & Rod. Rich Homie cadence & delivery made me fall in love with Hip-Hop. Soulja Boy because I feel like he is one of the greatest entrepreneurs in my generation of music, he’s going to put his brand first no matter what and market himself. He knew his first album was going to sell and get people’s attention so he named his album his website so people can view the website. Finally Rod, bro a megastar he can do everything on the musical side I’ll never forget when I overheard him say, ”ion make hits… I make anthems.” that statement I’ll never forget. Bro legendary

  • Out of curiosity, which one of your releases would you say is your current favorite? What was the inspiration behind it?

It would either have to be ”Street Poetry” “Soul Talk” or “Nothin (ft. Gk1Way)” those songs i released a couple months back. These songs just go real in depth with my story and my upbringing, love them a lot.

  • Even though you are primarily an artist, do you aim to be -or- are you already a jack of all trades? (i.e producing, singing, songwriting for others, engineering, etc.)

I’m a jack of all trades In and out of the industry. I came up as an engineer and a marketer in Atlanta, but I got a lot of business I’m doing outside of music that’s already on the urge to bring me 6 figures this year.

  • What are your goals as a creative in the next 3-5 years?

To help my label be the biggest label of this generation and help out anyway I can with that and bring in a nation wide hit.

  • What can fans and newcomers expect for 2023?

A lot of in depth music about my upcoming. To finally get to tell my side and my point of view on a lot of topics.

  • Where can we keep up with you?
