Rising Las Vegas Artist Bennett Taps in With His Relatable New Single, “Come Home”
Although lust is a fleeting feeling that comes and goes, love is something that sticks around a bit longer and is harder to get rid of. It becomes even more hard when you lose somebody you weren’t quite ready to lose, having to watch them live life without you, for better or worse. Hailing from Las Vegas, Bennett understands this notion perfectly, as he explores the depths of these feelings in his engaging new video for, “Come Home.”
Kicking off with an ultra relatable verse from Bennett over crescendoing synths, he immediately establishes empathy from the listener as he talks about longing for a love he lost. As he finishes up the verse, the song then refreshingly drops into a full on dance track, emphasized by the change in wardrobe and scenery in the video. Directed by Lucas O.M. and Dylan Budnieski, the video does a brilliant job bringing the music to life, while also not taking itself too seriously. While Bennett and featured artist Jack Higgins infectiously croon their hearts away, trying to convince lost loves to come back, the video shows them going through a handful of different scenes that include a brilliant shot of them singing the chorus under the rain, creating an absolute moment.
