Hailing from Cleveland, rising vocalist Khadi Lee resonates with the latter notion more heavily, as he breaks it all down in his new video for, “FriendZone.”

Serving as a standout from his recently released Sneaky Link EP, “FriendZone,” is an engaging, enjoyable record that finds Khadi crooning about relatable topics such as climbing out of the friend zone. Utilizing breezy production that perfectly compliments his infectious melodies, he pens a tale about making the conversation about hopping out of the friend zone less taboo. Directed by Jake Johnson, the accompanying video does a brilliant job of bringing the story to the screen, as we find Khadi boo’d up throughout the video, eagerly pleading his case to exit the friend zone.
