In celebration of the new year, the DMV rhymer released his first installment, “Gangstanary” as part of a new genre he created called “R&T (Rhythm & Thuggin)”. This fresh new genre generated by J Fitts combines street politics with the smooth sounds of singers.
When listening to Fitts’ distinct sound, you get Young Thug sprinkled with a little Jaheim and Chris Brown fused together. Although that’s a bold statement, Fitts’ vocals back up that claim as he rips through a deep, emotionally charged single.
In addition to the audio, the Maryland musician unveils the official music video which was shot by Moti Visual! Lit similarly to the latest The Batman picture, the dark but cinematic ambiance perfectly embodies the vibe of R&T music.
