Texas Native Terrence Lèon Checks in With His Engaging New Single, “Go Shawty Go”

Over the last 12 months, we’ve seen artists in all genres start to adjust the way they move to compliment post-pandemic changes. With everybody starting to release new content, it’s been apparent who spent their off-time chilling, and who spent it getting better. Hailing from Austin, rising vocalist Terrence Lèon definitely belongs to the latter group, as his post pandemic releases have seen him take that next step. Looking to keep that evolution going, he checks into our pages for the first time with his steamy new single, “Go Shawty Go.”

Released on the heels of his well-received EP, New Horizons, “Go Shawty Go,” is an infectious, stylish track that captivates with soaring, catchy, melodies and shimmering production, conveying Léon’s abilities as both vocalist and songwriter. Pairing groove-heavy, smooth instrumentation with heavenly vocals, Léon demonstrates sharp songwriting abilities and a keen ear for production on the record. Perhaps most impressive though is his poise throughout the record, keeping his voice steady among the hectic production, providing a sense of calmness throughout a record that otherwise can get chaotic at times.
