Los Angeles Emcee BACKWOOD BRAT Returns With Her Aggressive New Single, “Sit Down”
Over the last few years, L.A. rapper BACKWOOD BRAT has been one of the most consistent rappers on the west coast. Releasing video after video and only interrupting them to drop well-received projects, the rising emcee has slowly but surely cultivated an impressive fan base. After dropping one of those aforementioned projects earlier this month, she keeps the momentum going by unleashing a video to one of the standout songs on the project, “Sit Down.”
Shot by Jeff Knight, the video follows BRAT as she runs around Los Angeles in a sports car, stopping at bridges and park benches to further drive home the point of some of her bars. Draped in a night vision affect that makes it feel like a stealth mission, the overall vibe of the video perfectly compliments the record. Recruiting fellow buzzy L.A. rapper Lil’ Deuce, the two spend the record completely letting loose, speaking to enemies, haters, friends and everything in between. Utilizing an off-beat flow that sounds impressively comfortable on the production from Viper Beats, BRAT showcases an improved poise on the mic that makes her even more of an artist to keep an eye on.
