Meet Chucky Royale, the artist bridging the gap between Dance Hall and Underground Hip Hop

Chucky Royale is on his way up, especially after his most recent release, “Chawp Chawp,” out now! 

Chucky Royale is from St. Ann, Jamaica, but currently resides in Orlando, Florida. These two places have had a magnanimous impact on Chucky, as he has blended the two melodies he has grown up around, forming one hell of a genre-bending sound With his mix of Jamaican Dance Hall flair and hard-hitting, witty, and at times all the best parts of obscene, Underground Rap. 

Chucky has found solace, bridging these two genres together, and it seems this is just the start. As this mix of genres becomes increasingly more popular, Chucky has already carved a lane of his own, mixing the wittiness and lyrical elevation of Underground Rap and the bounce and pop of Jamaican Dance Hall. 

With still only a handful of singles released, Chucky is still new, establishing himself as an artist, but if we can expect anything like what we just heard from his most recent release, “Chawp Chawp,” we are in store for one hell of an artist on the rise. As “Chawp Chawp” channels the perfect part of a high-energy party, as the song is all about living your life to the fullest and not missing any blessing or event, but you need to “Chawp Chawp” because it could pass you by quickly. “Chawp Chawp” is fun, witty, and an all-around ass-shaker, as Chucky Royale’s Dance Hall beats shimmer brilliantly against his lyrical malice.
