Check Out Las Vegas Rapper Wes On Acid & His Infectious New Album, ‘Gothica’

Life is never easy, and it often takes a lot of work to get through. Despite that, most of us have things that we like to do in order to ease the stress of everyday lives. For Las Vegas musician Wes On Acid, that thing is music. Looking to not only express his feelings about the things he’s experienced in recent years, but to also highlight his obvious growth, he checks into our pages for the first time with his impressive new album, Gothica.

One of the immediately impressive qualities about this project is the fact that it was written, produced, mixed and mastered by Wes himself. While certain collaborations were welcomed, such as the brilliant Asaiah Ziv team up in, “Blue Velvet,” it was obvious that it was important to Wes for this to mostly have his own fingerprints on the project. While this is impressive on it’s own, the notion becomes a bit more intriguing when you listen to the album and realize that he did it correctly. While most indie projects tend to focus on features, ambitious singles and other things to try and help garner attention, Wes instead focused on sequencing and the pace of this album, making for a wonderful listen.
