The video for Tyga’s “Mrs. Bubblegum” is hilarious
Several months have passed since Tyga recently released his latest mixtape, the DJ Drama-supervised Well Done Fever, which featured 10 tracks and an extra feature from DJ Chose. Several collaborations have since emerged from the Cali star, including “Girl Like You” with Dímelo Flow, Sech, and J.I the Prince of N.Y, “So Pretty” with Reyanna Maria, “Sip It” with Iggy Azalea, “Spicy (Remix)” with Ty Dolla $ign, Post Malone, YG, and J Balvin, and “What U Want” with Coi Leray and Lil Xxel. He also collaborated with Moneybagg Yo on his loose track “Splash,” which comes with a cool video.
As promised (July 29), Tyga releases his latest single, “Mrs Bubblegum,” which continues his usual theme of wealth, debauchery, and hedonism:
A hilarious visual also appears throughout the track, which turns just about everything into rear ends. The song samples D4L’s “Laffy Taffy” in one of its choruses, so it’s only fitting that the Atlanta collective’s frontman Fabo also comes in for a cameo.
Aside from Well Done Fever, Tyga released a number of albums in 2020, including Legendary, originally featuring 14 tracks and a slew of features from Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, Blueface, Gunna, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and Offset — the last of whom joined Tyga on the wildly popular hit “Taste.” Following the release of Legendary, Tyga released the deluxe edition which featured nine extra songs as well as contributions from Nicki Minaj, G-Eazy, Takeoff, Starrah, and Rich The Kid.
