BIA’s “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY (Remix)” features Nicki Minaj.
Several years have passed since Nicki Minaj released her fourth studio album Queen, an album featuring 19 tracks and guest appearances from stars like Future, Eminem, Lil Wayne, Labrinth, Ariana Grande, Swae Lee, The Weeknd, and Foxy Brown. A total of 185,000 units equaled to two albums were sold during the project’s first week. Over the years, she’s released singles and collaborated with others, including “Tusa” with Karol G, “Megatron,” “Expensive” with Ty Dolla $ign, “What That Speed Bout?” with Mike WiLL Made-It, “Say So (Remix)” with Doja Catand “Whole Lotta Choppas (Remix)” with Sada Baby. She ended up at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 with the last of them.
Nicki made a triumphant return to the forefront in May when she re-released Beam Me Up Scotty, a collection comprising choice cuts from her original catalog along with new songs like “Seeing Green” and “Crocodile Teeth”. Drake’s recent picture of him in Nicki’s studio inspired many to believe that new music sat in the rafters nearby. With one of the slowest reveal live streams we’ve seen, we’ve now found out what it is a Young Money remix of BIA’s “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY”.
A version of “WHOLE LOTTA MONEY” appears on BIA’s 2020 EP FOR CERTAIN, which contains eight cuts featuring Doe Boy, Lil Jon, Lil Durk, and 42 Dugg, among others. Previously, he released albums such as #CholaSeason and Nice Girls Finish Last: Cuidado in 2014 and 2018, respectively. She has also recently contributed a show-stealing verse to Cousin Stizz’s “Perfect (Remix)”, Kiana Lede’s “Labels,” and Russ’ “Best On Earth.”
