On April 8, Lil Tjay released his sophomore album Destined 2 Win, which featured 21 tracks as well as collaborations with 6LACK, Polo G, Fivio Foreign, Saweetie, Toosii, Offset, and Moneybagg Yo. He was highly regarded by critics and commercially successful with the project, landing at the number five spot on the Billboard 200 list with 62,000 album equivalent units sold the first week it was released.
“Gang Gang,” a L Beats-produced effort that finds him keeping things super street and showing love to his closest homies, was released this past weekend.
A new clip accompanying Lil Tjay’s song “Gang Gang” features him taking the cameras around his NYC stomping grounds, hanging with fans, walking through subway stops, playing basketball, and more. Tjay is clearly going to stay close to home regardless of how successful he becomes Pop Smoke, Sleepy Hallow, Jay Critch, Sheff G, Jay Gwuapo, and more. Tjay also contributed to tracks like Lil Tecca’s “All Star,” Rvssian’s “Only The Team,” Pop Smoke’s “Mood Swings,” Rich The Kid’s “Depend On Me,” The Kid LAROI’s “Fade Away,” Calboy’s “Barbarian,” and YG’s “Hate On Me,” among many others.
