New video with Rick Ross calls Joyner Lucas a “legend”

Joyner Lucas had a remarkable year in 2020. In addition to his 18-track debut album ADHD, he also collaborated with Chris Brown, Logic, Timbaland, Fabolous,  Young Thug, and King OSF. His second album, Evolution, featured 13 new cuts and assistance from Ashanti, The Game, Rick Ross and Elijah James. Today, the Rozay-assisted cut — “Legend” — gets a dope new visual for fans to enjoy.

Featuring clips of Lucas at different stages of his youth, the video for “Legend” is directed by Ben Proulx and Lucas himself, showing that he has been working hard to succeed in music throughout his life. Viewers can see present-day Lucas politicking with T.I. and performing on talent shows, while Atlanta icon T.I.’s son Domani stands in the background as he shows off where he grew up or raps on the block. A green-screened paradise with a clear lake and the skies in the background is where Ross appears alongside Lucas. Any video from Joyner Lucas is guaranteed to be superb at this point.
