Devon The Chief and Twenty3Wayz release a reflective track and visual for their song “TBH”

Devon The Chief’s latest track is an introspective look into his life and what Devon calls one of his “realest songs to date.”

Devon The Chief and Twenty3Wayz just released a collaboration that is sure to make some noise. Their latest release, “TBH,” is an authentic and vulnerable, and reflective tale of their journey in life. From losing love, faith, and having the ones nearest to you pass away. “TBH” is a hard-hitting, powerful anthem that delivers on multiple levels, from the bass and rhythm to the lyrical subject matter, “TBH” has something for everyone to enjoy.

The track for “TBH” is the latest release and collaboration for the artist, who has been releasing heat with his plethora of singles, which is a perfect follow-up for his last release, “Myself,  Pt. 2.” The visual for “TBH” matches the content of the record, as Devon mentions airs out his sentiments as it is just him “Twenty3[Wayz] and like twenty-three bitches.”

The visual cuts back and forth from Devon and Twenty3Wayz hanging out at the crib, playing dominoes, drinking, and turning up as they deliver sincerely contemplative verses on their current state of life. The song cuts deep as they surrender themselves on the track, as Devon ironically says he “can’t be vulnerable,” as he pours out his all in “TBH.” The visual continues with Devon and Twenty3Wayz as they kick it at the pad, Devon posts up in front of a Catholic Church, and both of them post up near their whip in a deserted area with loads of cash.

The track is an anthem track, and for Devon The Chief, the song is about him being “numb to the bullshit” while “still tryna heal.”

The song and visual feature a melancholic sound and aesthetic that parallel one another, seen in the moments where Devon’s in the dimly lighted up hallway with a light-green hue, symbolizing the emotion and strain.

Devon The Chief is gearing up to release some music with Lil Bean shortly, as well as a project in September, so be sure to tap in with Devon Via social media @devonthechief for any updates.
