Moneybagg Yo’s talent is undeniable. His fourth mixtape titled Relentless was released back in 2015. It seemed like he was taken over by magic since he hasn’t stopped delivering amazing hits. In October 2016, he also signed with Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group (CMG) which further drove his music. Since we are arriving into a new season called Spring, the Memphis-based rapper decided it was time to release his fourth studio album titled A Gangsta’s Pain.
A few days ago, Moneybagg revealed information about his earnings and the release of A Gangsta’s Pain showcased the reason why he makes so much money. Moreover, his popular cut titled “Time Today” also managed to reach its Gold certification, which was confirmed by the RIAA. This is great timing, since based on what we can hear from the album, the summer is going to be great as well.
The album features 22 records with assists by many big names, such as KAASH Paige, Big 30, Future, Tripstar, Chicago stars Polo G and Lil Durk, Jhene Aiko and the living legend Pharrell. A Gangsta’s Pain comes after the album released by Bagg in 2020, called Time Served.
