The 4-track EP by 199X is a certified banger. The four songs, “Gone,” “Kamera,” “XXX,” and “Kandyland” put 199X’s talents on display as he shows the world what he’s capable of.

The first song on his EP, “Gone,” is a fun party anthem with a unique beat that makes you want to dance, quite literally. The rapper said in a recent interview that the project is about the underground party scene in Los Angeles that has sprung up during the COVID-19 pandemic and how 199X used that momentum to create his new EP, heard in how free-sounding the tracks are.
“Kandyland” is another standout track that speaks to 199X’s talents as a producer as well. As someone with a unique creative vision and execution, 199X is ready for what’s next and has way more content coming soon. His music journey is truly just getting started, and this recent release proves that.
Born and raised in Wichita, Kansas, he moved around a lot and traveled growing up. He gained notoriety for his songwriting when he moved to Los Angeles and begun crafting his original sound that fans know today.
