Ascending Artist, Yung Xavi Turns in His Engaging New Single, “Make the Cut”

Redemption is never easy, but the results of doing such a thing are incomparable. Coming out of Palm Spring, California, Yung Xavi has had a long journey to get to the current. Dealing with a plethora of issues that caused him to spiral downward, the now 19-year-old crooner battled his way through addiction and depression to improve his abilities as an artist. Taking those emotions and turning them into art, he returns with his enjoyable new single, “Make the Cut.”

Produced by Buddah Bless, “Make the Cut,” is a melodically driven record that finds Xavi highlighting his knack for melodic progression. Utilizing his intriguing vocal range, he showcases a distinctive Rap n Roll style, one that has him crooning like a rock singer over mainstream Hip-Hop production. What sets him apart, though, is his sheer relatability. Penning engaging lyrics that millions of people can empathize with, he proves on “Make the Cut,” that he’s talented enough to be here for the long haul.
