Tamika Palmer seeks review of case by independent prosecutor
The mother of late Breonna Taylor- Tamika Palmer– sent a letter to the Kentucky Prosecutor Advisory Council, wherein she sought a new independent prosecutor for her daughter’s case. She added that she wants the new prosecutor “to present a full and unbiased case to a new grand jury.” Just a month ago, Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron stated that former Louisville Metro Police Department Detective Brett Hankison would be charged with three counts of wanton endangerment for shooting at the walls of Taylor’s neighbor’s homes. The other officers involved in the death of Taylor- Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly and Detective Myles Cosgrove — were not charged in the shooting and no officer was charged for her death.
