Queens Native, CamilosGarden Links With Leigh Paris For Their Enjoyable New Video
Visuals are a huge part of what can make or break an artist in 2020. Gone are the days where being a mysterious, shadowy figure is what sells a new act. Instead, in an age of constant social media updates, fans like to be aware of not only what an artist looks like, but their interests, lifestyle and most importantly, fashion sense. Hailing from Queens, rising vocalist, CamilosGarden understands this notion perfectly, as he showcases his charisma in the new video for, “Tie Dye.”
Produced by Dee B, “Tie Dye,” finds Camilo eagerly showcasing his incredible melodic abilities. Blessed with a vocal range from another planet, he bends melodies and utilizes auto-tune to his advantage in a way that not many others do. Highlighted by a hard-to-forget chorus, as well as an enjoyable verse from featured artist, Leigh Paris, “Tie Dye,” is Camilo putting some of his best work forward.
Doubling down on his work, he couples the infectious record with an equally as enjoyable video. Directed by David Anthony Baez, “Tie Dye,” is a fun, quirky video that follows Camilo and Paris through a night of hijinks. Taking place in a Go-Kart alley, the video kicks off with Camilo and Paris cleaning the place up before their manager comes in, says he’s, “Going home to cheat on his wife,” leaving the place up for grabs. What follows is a great night filled with Go-Karts, girls and lots of money, that eventually goes to the store manager to keep cool. In all, the video generates the kind of charisma that showcases Camilo’s potential as a star. Listen above and get familiar.
