Lil’ Duece Turns In Debut Project Titled ‘Demons & Angels’
Mackk & Company’s very own Lil’ Duece steps foot on the main stage with the release of his debut project today titled, Demons & Angels. It’s a fitting title because it showcases two sides of Duece, you will hear the good, the bad, and the ugly. It’s more personable with fans and supporters because they get to hear what you’ve been working on as well as real life stories. Just from being a fan of his music, I can hear the progress every time he releases something new. This is definitely a project to add to your rotation.
“Smoke” is the opening record and Duece comes out the gate swinging over the booming heavy bass production. The next 7 songs reflect the “demon” side, he talks his sh*t throughout the records. “Chambers” featuring Shon Doe is among my favorites, “I’m the hottest in my city, without a question, I hit the club, they say my name before I hit the section” he raps in the intro. Tracks 9 through 16 is where he slows it down and gets more personal. He touches on issues of losing his homies to the streets and our corrupt legal system, his own battles he is faced with, and so many more relatable topics. The project ends with “Letter To My Mom” in which he apologizes for all the things he has put his mom through.
Demons & Angels is a project you must listen from start to finish. It’s full of bangers and very much versatile. Go stream on all platforms OUT NOW!
