Rising Rapper, TTG Fred Turns In His True-To-Life New Video, “Headshot.”

Perseverance and determination are two highly underrated qualities that an artist needs to succeed. Whether it’s sticking to the music when things aren’t going well, or maybe it’s battling through a tough personal issue, either way roadblocks happen. Dealing with the latter, Atlanta rapper TTG Fred puts out his new video for, “Headshot,” a story about him taking a stray bullet.

Directed by Reel Gods and DreamLab, “Headshot,” starts off with a message from Fred himself. Seemingly taken right after the incident, the clip shows Fred with a head-wrap on, talking about what just took place, right before it cuts to the start of the video. Sporting a medical head-wrap with wristband to match, the charisma of the Atlanta native is fully on display, as he exudes confidence, pain and hope all in the same video. Crooning poignant lyrics about the topic over the emotional production, he does a great job of highlighting the fact that his pen is to be respected.

Touching on such a serious subject, I have a feeling that, “Headshot,” will be one of his more impactful songs. Putting those exact two aforementioned qualities to display, TTG Fred proves he has the chops to be here for a long time, both on earth and in the game. Watch the video below and get familiar.
