MoThoro – “304” (Official Video)

Mothoro delivers a 2nd set of visuals for ‘304‘ from his ‘Thorolyfe: Execution‘ album that dropped awhile back. The direction of the song & video is important because it not only exhibits early 2000’s aesthetics, but instead of degrading women it shines light on empowerment.

It’s not many artists delivering quality yet inspirational music like MoThoro. He’s on the right track to success so stay tuned for new music this summer. Also we got the chance to ask MoThoro a few questions so check that out below as well as his new video.

How did you come up with the name MoThoro?
Well my name is Morris and My pops used to be in the industry and he went by Real Thorough so growing up I was always MoThoro. Plus I’m Mo’ Thorough than alotta niggas out rn.
What or who is your inspiration behind your music?
My inspiration is literally driven by my ability to inspire. I want to inspire people to put out good energy and reach their full potential. My dad and my favorite rapper Kendrick Lamar are also inspirations to me.
What do you think about the current state of hip hop?
I think the current state of hip hop is interesting and creative. I also think it’s full of gimmicks, which it was more centered around the music but I’m a fan of the music and the origins of hip hop as well.
How did you come up with the song ‘304’ ?
I came up with the song 304 on some playful shit fr lol. It started off me just playing around in the booth singing the chorus to snoop Dogg and Warren g but then it evolved into something catchy and I wrote the verses and the rest was history.
What’s next for you? Goals?
I’m dropping a collaboration tape with my brother Rasual this summer so be on the lookout for more content.
